I am using a lot the Tag Group functionality and I have specific color coding of tags per tag group.
Since of release 6.6.3, I observe the following behavior:
Adding tags to a file by typing the complete tag word and pressing ‘Enter’ does not apply the tag color. Instead the tag is displayed in the default green.
Adding tags to a file by start typing and then clicking on the right proposal applies correctly the color of the tag.
While method #2 is a fallback, I am missing the functionality in point #1 which was working before. It is very handy and an efficiency boost in case of lots of tags.
Hi @PhilippWillms , and thanks for reporting this. I just tested your use cases in our upcoming 6.7 release and was not able to reproduce case 1. So it appears the issue is fixed. We will release our first beta for 6.7 very soon.
Hi @ilian, I am using 6.7.3 Lite now, but I still observe the reported behavior. Entering multiple tags at once by typing them as comma-separated values does not takeover tag group color.
On another laptop (Windows 10), I had TagSpace version 6.7.2 installed. Here also the same issue continued to happen. You can verify very easily:
TagSpaces is shipped with the Tag Group “Smart Tags” colored in blue, “ToDo Workflow” colored in green and in the “Priorities” tag group there is the tag “medium” colored in orange.
Tagging an arbitrary file by entering “now, book, medium” in the Tags line + Press Enter, the tags are displayed in standard bright green.
