# Folder auto-adopt tags of contained files

New user here! Working on getting workflow going for our team.

One thing that would be really helpful would be if there were a way that a folder could inherit the tags of its contents.

Obviously, some issues there depending on the nature and number of its contents. So maybe it’s limited to a number of files, or most-used tags within, or to a heirarchy (direct children only), etc.

If this could not be done automatically, then some control on the directory level that could update manually.
