# "You can't open another file"

In the location manager, when I have a file selected with the details panel on, if I select another file, I get the error “You can’t open another file, because [FILE] is opened for editing”

I am confused. I am not editing anything nor is the file opened in any other program.

Any ideas?

There was an issue with this functionality, which is fixed in [version 6.4.7](https://github.com/tagspaces/tagspaces/releases/tag/v6.4.7). The PRO version for 6.4.7 is planed for next week.
