ODT viewer and filter extension

Hallo,

I started using Tagspaces LITE 6.8.1 yesterday. It seems to be a great stuff for organizing my documents. It’s exactly what I need, without a database and a lot of effort. However, in my opinion there are two things that could be improved:

  1. A viewer for *.ODT files (Libre Office text documents). This format is very common, but unfortunately it is not supported, even though ODS is supported.
  2. It would be nice if you could not only sort the contents of the storage locations, but also filter them by file extensions.

and thanks for your feedback! Currently there is no good javascript library for previewing ODT files. I personally miss also this feature in TagSpaces. Regarding your second question, you can use the search functionality for it, just enter .pdf$ there and the search will find all files with file names ending with .pdf

Version 6.9.1 includes a basic preview for ODT files. The support is really basic so do not expect much…
