I would like to request the possibility of adding tabs.
This would make the moving of files (and folders, when it will be possible) more powerful.
Also (or) the possibility of splitting the window into two windows, as for example Dolphin can do.
This request goes along the line of making TagSpaces work just like a standard file manager enriched with tags (on linux there is no file manager that has a really simple to use and graphically intuitive system of tags like TagSpaces). But one can do this either improving the file manager features of TagSpaces or adding tags to the standard file manager (but considering the many different types of file managers available in linux, which in the end are not basically different from each other, it seems that adding tags to a file manager is a difficult work).
Thank you.

Yes, having tabs and the possibility to open files/links in a new tab is a very important function.
My workflow is based a lot on searching/browsing and is quite nonlinear so by opening files in a new tab to preview and being able to then just drag this tab into a new window would increase the usability in a great way!
I was trying to build my personal wiki using tagspaces and i could then use it also like a browser to open links, putting the file browser function hidden to focus on the markdown files themself.
Is there any schedule implementing this?
Thank you!
Gregor
Currently we are not planing to add tabs. For this use-case we support multiple windows. You can open files/folders/locations in separate windows.
