I just started using tagspace and what I immediately noticed is the missing Typeahead Search function.
What I mean by that is like in the Dolphin file explorer on KDE:
You just start typing on your keyboard while your file view is open and the file explorer jumps to files matching your input.
e.g.: if you type “t” and you jump to files starting with “t”.
When you enter several letters quickly in succession e.g.: “t” “e” “s” - you jump to files starting with “tes”…
This a very easy and approximately way of finding files.
If you need a more accurate way, you can just use the normal search function.
