File Tagging Method / Rename file | Use Sidecar File, which works faster on SSD?

Between these 2 options, which method is faster on Solid State Desktop Drives.

  1. when a each files has to be tagged with multiple tags ?
  2. for returning search queries ?

I would say, the file rename method is faster, regardless of SSD question, because it does not deal with additional sidecar files.
