Tagspaces create sidecar .json file for a file when that file is opened in the right pane/sidebar.
But that is no use for me (as of now), I only want to store the tags in filenames.
So, these sidecar files are getting created unnecessarily and bloating the directory. Also they appear in search results in native file explorer.
I am on windows 11, how to disable this sidecar json file creation??
The creation of the json files can not be currently disabled. The .ts folder are set to hidden on Windows, so regarding the search issue, you can just tell windows explorer not to search in hidden folders. If the folders are for some reason not hidden, you can set this flag manually in the windows explorer.
I have curious feature just appeared. I now have a number of JSON files appearing in a normal folder and on topics not related to that specific folder. Also moving or deleting them fails.
