How to train AI to recognize faces

I’m trying to use TagSpaces to organize and tag years of family photos.

The AI works great at creating a description of an image, and it can tag some words from that description, but it utterly fails to recognize people (and pets) that I’ve tagged in other photos. Is this a capability the system doesn’t have, or am I doing something wrong?

Hi, TagSpaces does not have its own AI capabilities, It simply queries the locally installed AI-models from your Ollama installation. Recognizing people and pets was not tested at all, this will require some customer queries and maybe customizing the models …
