Moving Folders on a NAS

Hi,

I am currently trying to set up a folder location on a NAS for a few people at my workplace to use together. I have the location set up, but I am getting some odd behavior when I try to move or create subfolders.

Lets say my Folder structure is as follows:
\NAS\Subfolder1\FolderIWantToMove
and I am trying to move that folder to
\NAS\Subfolder2\

When I move the folder, it says it moves to Subfolder2, but nothing shows up there. When I dug a little deeper it appears it moved it to
C:\NAS\Subfolder2\

Same thing happens when I try to create a new folder. A new folder in subfolder1 would actually be created at
C:\NAS\Subfolder1\

I am able to create files within subfolders without any issues, its just anything to do with the folder structure that is causing headaches. Any ideas?

Hi,

paths starting with \ are not supported in TagSpaces. Try to mount your NAS folder to a drive with a letter. This can be easily achieved with the mount.exe command or the mounting options in Windows Explorer.
