Now, the web clipper simply puts all clippings in the Downloads folder. It would be great if it was possible to manually select the standard location where clippings should go.
I now have a “Tagspaces” folder that is synced using Syncthing to all my devices. Within that I have an Inbox folder that I would like to be able to set as the standard location for all clippings to go.
Hi, we have to use the standard browser settings for this feature. So in your case, the browser is configured to save your downloads in the download folder. You can change this in the browser settings. In this case you will be confronted with the save dialog, every time you download something with your browser.
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! Wow… have to say, I am not used to that. Hmm… I am an IT guy, but no programmer and not familiar with the intricacies of how browser add-ons work. There is no way around that? Like e.g. integrating a “Save As” dialogue instead of downloading the file immediately?
